Beginner Ballet

LEVEL: 1-2

DESCRIPTION: Students in the Elementary Division, Levels 1-2, will be working to establish ballet technique and placement while learning fundamental steps. Stretching and strengthening is prioritized, giving young dancers the perfect start for all proceeding training in classical ballet.

CLASSES PER WEEK: Two classes per week recommended. One class per week required.

GIRLS DRESS CODE: Light pink leotard (no skirt attached), Light pink tights (worn under leotard, short sheer black wrap skirt, pink canvas split-sole ballet shoes, hair in a high bun. Coverups must be worn over dance clothes to and from the studio.

BOYS DRESS CODE: White fitted T-shirt (tucked into tights), dance belt, light grey tights, white socks (worn inside shoes), white ballet shoes, hair combed and out of the face. Coverups must be worn over dance clothes to and from the studio.


Beginner Tap/Jazz

LEVEL: 1-2

DESCRIPTION: In this Tap/Jazz combo class, students will be introduced to the basic jazz/tap technique and develop a sense of rhythm and musicality.

CLASSES PER WEEK: One class per week, must be enrolled in at least 1 ballet class with Ballet Reign Academy.

DRESS CODE (BOYS AND GIRLS): Ballet Reign Academy branded tops and neutral colored (tan, grey, black, or white) knee-length or ankle-length bottoms. Black split-sole jazz shoes and black full-sole tap shoes. Coverups must be worn over dance clothes to and from the studio.
